Thanks, Katy. What Alec doesn't get either is that the point to posting this was that it wasn't about "hating someone" anymore for what he did. It was about cutting down how much it used to hurt to the fact that it is just a fact of life now and it sucks, but life goes on. And, somewhat hilariously, the writer of the secret wrote on the back, "It'll never love you back" and that is true... But, it isn't about a personal "I hate" anymore. It is just about the fact of life that it sucks... But thanks for being such a... kind and comforting friend with your insipid advice.
If I had a switch to flip to turn off that I loved someone, I would flip it in a moment...
I can't think of anything better than sticking up for my best friend when some nitwit decides to run his mouth like an insipid fool. Don't you have better things to do than spread "advice" you already know to be pointless?
